The Harry Potter Exhibition Red Carpet event was one of the most exciting moments of my life. Upon arrival, fans from across the street were chanting out to the carpet. I got there and got right in to the fansite area of the red carpet meant for photographs and fast interviews with the film cast.

The first film cast star, Natalia Tena (Tonks) arrived at the event and started slowly making her way towards me. I couldn’t believe I was really going to meet her and see her up close, such a talented actress right in front of me. She stopped to talk to the MTV crew for their live segment of the event. Then came David Thewlis (Lupin) after her. It was truly a surreal moment for me. These actors/actresses who I have been watching act as my favorite characters in my favorite book series were standing right before me. I saw/met briefly: Natalia Tena (Tonks), Domhall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour), Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy), Freddie Stroma (Cormac McLaggen), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook), David Barron (Producer), David Heyman (Producer), Sir Michael Gambon (Albus Dumbledore), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Oliver Phelps (George Weasley), Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), and David Thewlis (Remis Lupin).

I asked Warwick Davis if he was enjoying his stay in New York City, and he replied: “Oh, I just love New York City! Everyone here has such great energy! Very fun!” I also got to hug the twins Oliver and James Phelps :):) It was all together a fantastic evening, absolutely unforgettable.
